This is a great way to showcase a beautiful piece of fish. The flavors of Umami 33 perfectly enhance a great piece of salmon while adding a slight touch of heat and some amazing flavor. Depending on the size of the salmon, this can be a great dish to serve a hungry crowd!
Heat grill to high. Place the salmon, skin side down, on the grill. Brush the fish liberally with Umami 33. Cook the fish with the cover closed until golden brown and the fish is cooked – about 7-8 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish. When removing from the grill, slide spatula between fish and skin. The fish should lift easily away from the skin, leaving you with a filet that can be easily sliced for serving.
