Steak Skewers

Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs top sirloin steak, cut into 1” cubes
Button mushrooms
Bamboo or stainless steel skewers
8 cloves garlic, processed or very finely chopped
2” piece of ginger, peeled and grated
1 ¼ cup Umami 33
1 cup low sodium soy sauce
1-2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Recipe Instructions

Mix the garlic, ginger, Umami 33, soy sauce, and pepper to make a marinade. Put the steak cubes into the marinade and let sit for one hour or longer.

Prepare a grill for direct heat cooking. Thread the meat and mushrooms onto the skewers. Grill for ~8 minutes or to desired doneness, brushing the meat with the leftover marinade. Remove from the grill and serve hot.
